Kalahari names Mark Holden as Emea Sales Director
Kalahari, a global provider of real-time price discovery and analytic solutions to banks, brokers and other financial institutions, today announced the appointment of Mark Holden as Sales Director for the EMEA region.

This appointment adds force to Kalahari’s success in the EMEA market by adding to its ranks a proven sales manager whose extensive financial services expertise will help translate into strong revenue growth for Kalahari.
Based at the company’s offices in Woking, Surrey, Mark joins Kalahari with more than 15 years experience within the financial industry. Mark started his career in financial services as a trader. In 2000, he joined the financial services sales team of Sun Microsystems where he had account management responsibility for a number of Sun’s financial customers. Other roles have included senior interest rate swap and futures broker for GNI; trader of interest rate and equity futures for International Clearing Associates and money broker at Garban Icap. His knowledge of the financial sector together with his track record in technology sales is considered a major asset for Kalahari.
In his role as Sales Director for the EMEA region, Mark will oversee all the strategic and commercial aspects of Kalahari’s activity in the region, and will aim to both grow the company’s market share and develop long-term strategic relationships. Mark’s remit will include all sales and marketing, client management, business development and strategic alliances within the EMEA region. He reports directly to Kalahari’s managing director, Peter Trenier.
