US client extends Anvil Arts to asset-backed business

With the successful launch of a US Residential Mortgage business in August 2004 a large global client of Anvil Software have extended their use of Anvil ARTS to include the financing of their asset backed portfolio.

The new mortgage business significantly increases the scale of this US ARTS installation, already one of the largest ARTS deployments, with a single global system supporting hundreds of users trading in the US, Europe and the Far East.

Mortgage financing in ARTS is supported by the renowned ARTS class-based position management capabilities. This provides traders with summary positions derived from security characteristics - crucial to trading mortgage-backed securities in the US.

Phil Buck, head of Anvil North America comments: "This installation is now our third US client to have an extensive mortgage-backed business trading on ARTS. We're pleased we could respond so effectively to their aggressive expansion plans - but then, that's the Anvil way!"
