Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading global technology provider of financial Business Process Management (fBPM) software and managed services, today announced the release of WebSeries(R) CrossPay for the company's Electronic Banking (eBanking) platform.

The new CrossPay module uniquely combines full international electronic payment functionality with an extensive range of domestic capabilities to provide enhanced payment management throughout any global enterprise.

Craig Jones, Bottomline Technologies' Vice President and General Manager, Banking and Financial Services North America, says: "The CrossPay module leverages Bottomline's ACH proficiency and experience serving thousands of international corporate clients, to offer commercial banks the most flexible and feature-rich ACH, check, and international payment solution available today."

In designing the WebSeries CrossPay application, Bottomline incorporated solutions used by many of the world's largest banks, such as Fed Wire and International Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS), Global Information Reporting, Check Management, and Cross-border payments. Complemented by a real-time FX trading module and enterprise laser check production, Bottomline's WebSeries CrossPay enables banks to maximize transactional and service revenues across the broadest base of corporate client opportunities.

Key features include automated OFAC checking for regulatory compliance across all disbursements, a browser based end-user mapping tool, and ongoing updates for child support and taxes for all 50 states without requiring software upgrades.

WebSeries CrossPay includes advanced functionality such as the ability to create and individually title an unlimited number of custom payment applications. Automatic recurring payment generation, e-mail alerts for exception conditions and status notifications are also included. The CrossPay solution integrates with check/international draft creation and distribution, international payments and MT101 generation, as well as full NACHA and addenda formatting validation. It also provides support for unattended, Web-based, secure host-to-host communication.
