Duncan McIntyre announced his retirement as a director of Morse plc on 8 August 2008 with immediate effect.

Duncan joined Morse in 1994 when it was a small reseller with a turnover of approximately £24 million and 60 employees. He rose to the position of CEO in 1997 and led the company until July 2007 when he ceased operational involvement in order to take up the position of Executive Chairman of Monitise plc on the demerger of Monitise plc.

Commenting on his resignation as a director, Duncan McIntyre commented: "As Morse enters a new era of change with new leadership and direction, my retirement gives me the opportunity to pass on the baton of success and enables me to give more time to my chairmanship of Monitise plc and other business interests. I wish everyone continued success and would like to take this opportunity to thank all employees past and present for their support."

Kevin Loosemore, Chairman of Morse plc, said: "The Board would like to thank Duncan for his significant contribution to Morse and wishes him every success in his other business interests."
