Charles Smith named VP, solutions management, Misys Treasury and Capital Markets

Misys (FTSE: MSY.L), the global applications software and services company, today announces the appointment of Charles Smith as Vice President, Solutions Management for Misys Treasury and Capital Markets.

In this role, Mr. Smith will be responsible for managing the ongoing strategy, development and deployment of Misys' treasury and capital markets solutions globally.

Mr. Smith joins Misys from Fiserv (formerly CheckFree Corporation) where he was most recently the Vice President of Product Development for the Investment Services division. His background includes senior leadership roles in product management and strategy at both Fiserv and Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters). Mr. Smith has over 15 years of experience in developing innovative and first-to-market financial services solutions.
