Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux S.A. (CA Cheuvreux) announces that it now offers access to a 60th execution venue, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).

The JSE is the 20th largest stock exchange worldwide by market capitalisation, and comprises more than 400 listed companies with a total market value of USD760bn.

This new access to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange is the latest step in the international expansion of CA Cheuvreux, which is now active on 60 execution venues, including 16 dark pools, on the European, North American, Middle Eastern and now South African markets.

François Simon, Chief Executive Officer at CA Cheuvreux, says, "Access to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange is an important step in the development of our services in the current context of an increasing number of execution venues. We have the ambition of positioning ourselves as a key source of liquidity, which involves, in addition to the access we offer to 60 execution venues, providing a full spectrum of execution services: DMA, algorithmic trading, Program Trading and CFDs. 'Leading Research, Global Execution, Local Presence', this sums up the keys to CA Cheuvreux's success: independent high value-added research that is regularly rewarded in the rankings, global execution capacity and local knowledge of our markets".
