Concurrent with the appointment of Grieve, Mocapay also announced that Rod Stambaugh, Mocapay's founder and past CEO, would continue an active role as Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member and a full-time executive of the company.

Mocapay allows consumers to simply and securely transact at any point of sale with a mobile device using any tender type and also gives users the ability to receive targeted marketing messages from their favorite retailers.

"Kevin Grieve is the right person to guide the maturation of Mocapay," said Rod Stambaugh, Founder and recently appointed CSO of Mocapay. "Kevin has an incredible track record of successes in our industry with the experience and passion to deliver at the extremely high degree of effectiveness our company requires."

As CEO, Kevin will focus on the strategy, execution and delivery of the Mocapay Mobile Marketing and Payments Platform to the marketplace. Kevin will also guide Mocapay's strategic partnerships with leading credit issuers, retailers, wireless carriers and merchant acquirers.

"I'm very excited to help Mocapay advance its position as the standardized marketing and payment platform for mobile payments in the US," said Grieve. "With the amount of interest Mocapay has attracted recently, I'm honored to lead the charge as we deliver mobile marketing and payment capabilities for financial institutions, retailers, carriers and consumers. It's an incredible opportunity."
