Bank of Queensland today announced the appointment of Jim Stabback as Group Executive IT and Operations.
The Bank's Managing Director David Liddy said, "I am delighted to have attracted a person of Jim Stabback's experience and capability to our senior leadership team.
"Jim has a strong financial services and information technology background and an extensive knowledge of the financial services industry through his previous roles at both the Commonwealth Bank and Westpac."
"His extensive experience in the managing large and complex commercial technology and business services supply relationships and contracts, as well as his experience in delivering transformational change to achieve sustainable customer and shareholder outcomes, will be invaluable at the Bank."
Most recently Jim was an Executive Director in Telstra's consumer business. He also brings to the Bank experience in working with EDS, both from the client side at Commonwealth Bank and in-house as EDS' Director, Business Process Outsourcing - Asia Pacific.
Jim will join the Bank in September.
Mr Liddy thanked outgoing CIO Iain Blacklaw for his contribution to the Bank.
