Thomas has played a large role in CheckFree Investment Services since joining the company as vice president and sales director of CheckFree Investment Services Software in April 2005. Prior to joining CheckFree, Thomas led the global sales and marketing of trade finance and treasury reconciliation solutions at Surecomp, a solutions provider for international banking and finance, and was a member of the company's executive management team. Preceding this, Thomas served in several capacities with Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), one of the world's leading providers of computerized transaction processing formerly ADP Wilco. Thomas worked at ADP for more than ten years, ultimately assuming the role of managing director of sales for Europe and Asia Pacific, and as an executive member of the board of directors.
