EasyScreen, the global supplier of trading software and connectivity to electronic exchanges is pleased to announce today that Fortis Bank Global Clearing NV ('Fortis Clearing') has gone live for derivatives trading according to schedule.

Easy Active Trade ('EAT') trading screen sales, marketed through the Fortis Clearing sales channel, have already commenced. It is expected that the Fortis sales channel will result in a take up of further EAT screens by groups of high volume professional traders from banks and other financial institutions in the coming months.

Fortis Clearing is a general clearing member of numerous exchanges, clearing multiple asset classes for clients worldwide.

'EasyScreen looks forward to assisting Fortis Clearing in rolling out more EAT screens from EasyXchange over the coming months,' said Maria de Figueiredo, Sales Director of EasyScreen. 'These higher volume institutions and banks are our ideal target market, offering good revenues.'

'Fortis Clearing welcome this new initiative with Easyscreen. It strengthens our offering to clients and is projected to result in significant new business for us' said Chris Lee, Head of Screen Based Trading, Fortis Bank Global Clearing NV.
