With the end of SWIFTNet FIN migration in sight, many banks are now investigating how to leverage their SWIFTNet investment. SWIFTNet Masterclass is a series of discussion groups targeting key industry topics. SunGard Business Integration will present its experiences of SWIFTNet, and will moderate a discussion on industry trends.

SWIFTNet Masterclass topics include:
  • SWIFTNet industry trends – reviewing SWIFTNet opportunities and how they have affected industry thinking.
  • How will banks plan their SWIFTNet strategy? – predicting how different industry players will react to SWIFTNet over the next few years, and the opportunities and threats that will arise as a result.
  • Study: FileAct solutions – covering the functionality commonly requested by financial institutions from their IT/vendors when planning a FileAct solution.
  • Open discussion –presenting the main challenges ahead and inviting participants to share their experience, predictions and thoughts on the future of SWIFTNet.

Tom King, president of SunGard Business Integration, said, "Our SWIFTNet Masterclasses have already been very well received around the globe. Because of the great interest in this topic we decided that Sibos would be the perfect forum for these SWIFTNet Masterclasses. With most banks now having completed the necessary steps to achieve migration, they are now looking at how to leverage that investment. Our SWIFTNet Masterclass aims to encapsulate exactly what is available to them and how they can use these services to achieve maximum benefit from their initial outlay."
