Citisoft, the specialist investment management consulting firm, today announced the appointment of David Roy, who will be responsible for providing services to its global clients in the field of front office projects. Prior to joining Citisoft, David was the Product Manager at LatentZero for their Sentinel compliance product - one of the leading products of its type in the market place.
In a recent study conducted by Citisoft, compliance was listed as one of the three most important issues facing the investment management industry. As well as servicing clients' front office demands globally, David will also be responsible for a new process-driven approach to implementing compliance solutions. Before joining LatentZero, David was a senior business analyst at Merrill Lynch, where he re-designed the order processing methodology for the private bank. David has also worked for Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank, based in Asia, implementing trading and MIS systems regionally and globally, and at Putnam Investments, based in Boston, where he led the selection process for a new enterprise-wide compliance system.
David comments, "Citisoft is one of the largest independent investment management consulting firms in the world, and I am pleased to be joining during this period of impressive expansion. I am looking forward to putting my experience to work in some of the industry's largest institutions to help Citisoft's blue-chip clients address the serious issue of compliance. Citisoft consultants all have unrivalled depth of knowledge and expertise and I am very much looking forward to working with such an experienced and dedicated team."
Jonathan Clark, Executive Director, Citisoft, adds, "The appointment of David from LatentZero demonstrates our commitment to continually enlarging our pool of investment management expertise. David brings with him a wealth of specialist knowledge and will be a great addition to Citisoft. As with other strategic new hires this year, David's appointment signals our continued growth in the UK and the US."
