UNX, an independent trading technology firm and brokerage specializing in advanced trade execution tools and services, announced today the release of UNX MetaBook Execution Management System (EMS) version 3.3.
UNX established its reputation as a provider of innovative high-performance basket trading technology with its Basket Trading Center product in 1999. MetaBook, built with the distinct ability to provide first-class access to the wealth of UNX's advanced tactical and automated execution services, expanded the reach of UNX trading products into the active trading domain.
Version 3.3 represents an important milestone in the evolution of UNX's desktop trading technology, as it establishes a new extensible .NET-based trading platform that will underpin future solutions from UNX. Additionally, the new release provides a further enhanced toolset for greater control over algorithmic order flow, increased transparency, and the improved ability to customize personal trading functions. The application is broker-neutral, allowing MetaBook users the ability to route orders to 3rd party brokers or algorithmic vendors.
Alex Shindich, manager of the UNX front-end product line, comments, "The future of our client-site product line lies in the advancement towards an open and a highly-customizable technology platform. This release puts us firmly on track towards reaching that goal."
Scott Harrison, UNX CEO, adds, "This evolution in UNX technology will serve as a catalyst, unifying our strengths and sparking new innovation in desktop solutions."
