MGEX ("Minneapolis Grain Exchange" or "the Exchange") is pleased to announce the promotion of Todd Posthuma to Associate Director, Market Operations & Information Technology.
Posthuma previously managed projects and operations in the Market Operations and Information Technology Departments.
"Todd's experience and focus within MGEX operations and IT make him a valuable asset to the Exchange. His knowledge, leadership and project management expertise are integral to MGEX operations going forward," said James Facente, Director of Market Operations, Clearing & IT at MGEX.
Posthuma will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Market Operations and IT areas including managing the MGEXpress® electronic trading platform and general technology infrastructure.
Before joining MGEX, Posthuma managed technical projects for a local technology consultancy firm in the Twin Cities, focusing on voice over IP (VoIP) telecommunications, network security and monitoring and managed co-location services. He has held various management and technical positions in the manufacturing, medical and computer industries. In addition, Posthuma has held positions with Apple Computer, Medtronic and a multi-million dollar printing company.
