SmartStream Technologies, the Transaction Lifecycle Management specialist, today announced that one of Singapore's leading Fund Managers has gone live on TLM Reconciliations.

The firm is using TLM Reconciliations to deliver a consolidated platform for cash, securities and inter-system reconciliations across its Singapore and Hong Kong fund management operations.

The decision to consolidate its reconciliations onto a single platform was taken to help rationalise and standardise business processes and reduce operational costs. As a result, the firm is redeploying some of its back office staff to deliver more proactive handling of exceptions. It will also gain greater visibility into its transactions, helping the firm to utilise its assets more effectively and efficiently.

Stefan Wawrzyniak, Regional Director for SmartStream in Asia Pacific, said: "Having one of Singapore's largest fund managers select TLM for its back office operations demonstrates, once again, SmartStream's ability to support institutions' transaction management needs globally. TLM Reconciliations' flexible, generic data model and rich workflow capabilities were critical to delivering this firms' operational vision. We are very pleased that it has recognised these capabilities and chosen SmartStream to help deliver its strategic vision."
