Separately, ACI Worldwide (NasdaqGS:ACIW), a leading international provider of software for electronic payment systems, today announced that Empire National Bank, headquartered in Islandia, New York, has selected ACI to provide online banking services for their business and retail customers. The newly formed Long Island-based bank has established ACI Enterprise Banker(tm) as the core of its online banking system, and available services will include information reporting, stop payment, ACH origination, wire transfer, internal transfer, and positive pay. The product operates in the ACI On Demand hosted services environment, relieving the bank of the technical burden of system implementation and ongoing maintenance.

"Empire National Bank fills a void in the local banking landscape that has been created by recent bank consolidations," said Douglas C. Manditch, chairman and CEO of the bank. "Our mandate is to bring the personal touch back to customer service while providing cutting-edge products that rival what is offered by our largest competitors. ACI Enterprise Banker is an ideal match for Empire National Bank. Enterprise Banker provides the same robust online banking services used by some of the largest banks in the country. "We are very pleased to have been selected by Empire National Bank to provide online banking services to their business and retail customers," said Ralph Dangelmaier, president of the Americas at ACI Worldwide. "Enterprise Banker's single-product solution uniquely positions Empire National Bank to support the needs of what is sure to be a rapidly growing customer base. As customer needs change, the bank can easily cross-sell additional services, all within the same product offering. Additionally, Enterprise Banker gives them the unique ability to tailor product packages to meet the specific needs of niche target markets, such as property managers, attorneys and healthcare providers."
