Etelcharge enhances online payments service; adds digital gift cards

Etelcharge.com (OTC BB:ETLC.OB), the new online way to pay, today announced that the Company is launching its Version 3.0 purchasing system with social networking on Thursday, May 15.

Etelcharge CEO Rob Howe stated, "Our members can purchase gift cards starting this Thursday. Our first digital gift card provider, CinemaNow is ready to accept our orders, and we're ready to send them. This is an important day for our company."

Etelcharge has been developing its Version 3.0 since it launched its version 2.0 last September. Included in its new version are the following features:

  • Members have access to the Personal Gift Card Store allowing them to select from premium online merchants as well as send money to friends and family in the form of Digital Gift Cards; Gift Certificates and Pre-Paid Debit Cards;
  • Members can make payments online using the Etelcharge payment method or use the new Etelcharge secured credit card payment (without revealing their credit card or personal information to the merchant;
  • Members possess their own Contact Management System allowing them to send e-mail messages and personal invitations to join their "community";
  • Members can keep track of online spending & order purchase history.

    "This level of functionality and security is unprecedented in our market space," Howe continued, "as our members will be able to invite their friends, colleagues and family members to join their networks and avail themselves of Etelcharge's unique capabilities."
