Merchant e-Solutions (MeS), a leader in payment processing services, today announced a partnership with the Community Bankers Association of Kansas (CBA) to offer merchant services to 125 Kansas banks and their customers.

MeS will provide CBA members with technically advanced payment services such as Web-based portfolio management, sophisticated reporting and analysis tools, and online merchant sign-up capabilities. CBA is a statewide organization working solely for the interests of locally owned and operated community banks and their customers.

"With the services MeS is providing, it's never been easier for community banks to manage and grow their merchant portfolios," said Shari Weber, CBA president and CEO. "These services ensure our members can continue to focus on local credit and local development while being on an equal footing with national competitors when it comes to processing services."

MeS is an e-commerce company providing traditional and internet-based payment services to community banks and merchants. Traditional services include payment processing solutions via dial terminals, personal computers, and telephones. Internet-based services include payment processing solutions tailored specifically for online stores, plus an extensive array of reports and monthly statements available to banks and merchants through the internet.

"Regional banks have been paying more for less service from national processors who are focused on national banks that generate large volumes of transactions," said Sharif Bayyari, MeS Chief Executive Officer. "MeS and CBA are working to ensure Kansas community banks can compete on price and services without having to make massive investments in technology."

MeS provides community banks access to advanced reporting, such as risk management, portfolio evaluation, and real time profitability analysis, as well as equipment inventory management, deployment and activation. Merchants can take advantage of online monthly statements, transaction reports, and information on activity and profitability.

"This is a great opportunity for banks to offer merchant services and remote deposit capture for their customers," said Bayyari. "CBA Kansas has made a commitment to its members to support their efforts in providing quality, competitive products for their local merchant customers."

Community banks and merchants are the sole focus of MeS, which offers payment processing and reporting services designed specifically for these clients.
