ID Data inks new Multos card deal with Norway's Buypass

ID Data Group (IDD), the smart card and card solutions group, is pleased to announce that it has won a new contact to manufacture and deliver Multos multi application smart cards for use by Buypass, the leading Norwegian security, payment services and solutions provider.

With this significant order, ID Data will play an integral role in what is expected to be one of the largest global implementations of the Multos technology. The contract is attributable to ID Data's highly developed skills in the multi application smart card business and follows the Group's recent significant recognition amongst leading edge secure card issuers. ID Data won the business against international competition based upon a proven track record of successful development and delivery of similar projects.

The contract will be delivered during the financial year ending March 2009 and is expected to have a positive effect on the Company's results for the current year.
