Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions has announced today that Banque de Luxembourg has gone live with the Etrali Voice Platform for their new trading room and the disaster recovery site.

Banque de Luxembourg has a long-standing relationship with Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions. Having used the Mach 2 turrets for a number of years the organisation opted to upgrade to the Etrali Mach 3D turret. The upgrade is part of a move to a new site and the updating of the bank's disaster recovery facilities.

The Etrali Mach 3D turret and Voice Trading Platform will be used to trade a number of assets such as forex, fixed income, structured products, repo and securities lending in a number of areas: the treasury, the fund desk and the market advisory desk.'

The bank's decision to go with Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions was due to several factors. The Etrali Mach 3D turret can be configured to run under TDM or IP modes with an easy switch from TDM to IP. The turret offers an intuitive interface and impressive ergonomic design. In addition it provides an extra level of security with the IP/TDM setup and has the highest level of voice quality available. A quarter of the bank's Etrali Mach 3D turrets are now running on IP.

Says Theo Meder, Head of the Banque de Luxembourg dealing room: "We have had a successful and productive working relationship with both Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions and their partner Téléphonie du Luxembourg for a number of years and have direct experience of the product and service quality they offer. When we decided to upgrade our turrets it was obvious that the Etrali Mach 3D offered all the functionality that we would need. It gives us an easy migration path to IP, the benefits of an easy-to-use interface and the assurance of good voice quality."

The installation of the turrets on the new trading room floor and the disaster recovery site allows the bank to meet its Basel II, Sarbanes-Oxley and CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) regulatory obligations.

"The choice of the Etrali Mach 3D turrets and Etrali Voice Platform by the Banque de Luxembourg confirms that we are ggoing in the right direction. They have trusted us for a number of years and we have always been committed to providing them with the best solutions for their trading room. I am delighted that we will continue with the relationship and am pleased that they will benefit from our ethos of providing today the best technologies for tomorrow," says Raphaël Guilley, Etrali France Executive Manager at Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions.
