Under this agreement, the two partners will work together more closely on listing projects. This move is testament to the further expansion of Deutsche Börse's activities in the North-West of Russia with the aim of bolstering existing business relations and exploiting new opportunities.
In the future, SPCEX will advise, inform and provide active pre-IPO support to companies from the region that have set their sights on a listing in Frankfurt. The partners intend to work together to advance the internationalization of
German and Russian financial markets, thereby opening them both to international investors and companies alike.
Deutsche Börse has continued its active involvement in Russia and the CIS countries this year, organizing road shows and IPO conferences with the aim of promoting stock exchange listings for local companies. Deutsche Börse has established close relationships with a variety of key institutions in the Russian market over the past years. Last year alone, eight companies from Russia and the CIS countries were listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for the first time. The company has had a representative office in Moscow since May 2007.
