BT today announced it will provide connectivity to Chi-X Canada, through the Radianz Shared Market Infrastructure.
Chi-X Canada is a high-performance, fully anonymous and low-cost continuous alternative trading system (ATS) for Toronto Stock Exchange listed senior equities. This will enable a community of more than 10,500 financial services sites worldwide access to Chi-X Canada and its no-cost market data.
"This connectivity arrangement with BT provides market participants with greater choice in how they route orders to and receive pricing information from Chi-X Canada," said Tal Cohen, head of Chi-X Canada.
Chris Church, Managing Director, Radianz Services, BT Global Financial Services, said: "Execution venues rely on BT to provide access to the global financial services community, resilient connectivity and scalable capacity. By working with BT, Chi-X Canada gains faster access to customers and the opportunity to shift more resources to its core business."
Chi-X Canada joins nearly 60 execution venues worldwide that currently distribute their market data services or enable access to trading applications over the Radianz Shared Market Infrastructure.
