BC National Banks of Butler, Missouri, recently signed contracts initiating a strategic partnership with Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (Pink Sheets: CSVI) and Summit Financial Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of CSI.
CSI will provide the bank with core data processing, and Summit will handle the bank's item processing.
BC National Banks, with $100 million in assets, has served customers in its market area for over 100 years. The bank has seven branches in communities throughout Western Missouri, and it plans to open an eighth branch in Peculiar, Missouri, later this year. The new branch will introduce private banking, which understands and works specifically with the unique needs of each customer. Instead of waiting in teller lines, customers will be encouraged to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee while a personal banking representative takes care of their business in a private office.
BC National Banks had been operating in an in-house processing environment before converting to CSI's service center solution in February 2008. With a growing customer base, steadily increasing revenues and plans to open a new branch, BC National Banks recognized the need for service center processing in early 2007. After researching several industry leaders, the bank concluded that CSI and Summit could deliver the winning combination of data processing, item processing and quality customer service.
Craig Witbart, Summit Executive Vice President, believes that BC National Banks decided to partner with Summit because of the bank's goal to expand its market presence.
