Dow Jones Newswires announced today that its flagship product, Dow Jones News Service, has begun offering convenient, direct access to annual and quarterly reports for U.S. and Canadian companies, as well as many international companies whose securities trade on U.S. stock markets. The corporate financial reports are supplied by PrecisionIR, a service of WILink, a leading provider of global investor-relations and investment-information services.
Each day, Dow Jones News Service publishes thousands of items and features on publicly traded companies. Now, when Dow Jones runs a story on a company that subscribes to WILink's program, the item will carry a Web site link and toll-free telephone number that enables Dow Jones News Service subscribers to access the Company's free annual or quarterly reports. The reports are available in either electronic or hardcopy formats. Dow Jones News Service will inform subscribers when updated reports are available.
"Continually enhancing Dow Jones News Service to meet the evolving needs of financial professionals is one of Newswires' principal goals," said Richard J. Levine, vice president and executive editor of Dow Jones Newswires. "Our customers will find that links to corporate financial reports from WILink provide an easy way to obtain additional information and data about a company."
"WILink's services are aimed at helping companies communicate more proactively with investors, and in turn providing investors convenient access to corporate information for use in making better-informed investment decisions," said J. Patrick Galleher, chief operating officer of WILink, Inc. "The agreement with Dow Jones News Service will broadens our clients' visibility with investors at a critical point of investment research."
