Monitise adds Ron Drake as VP, business development

Ron brings to Monitise over twenty years experience in the financial services industry. He will be responsible for the development of strategy within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and will lead Monitise's electronic payment provider relationships across the globe.

Having spent thirteen years as Managing Director of eFunds International, the global payments specialists, Ron has built a strong reputation in the electronic payments market, serving the major European retail banks and processors. Prior to joining eFunds he was also MD at both Cincom Systems Ltd and Platinum Financials.

This appointment is the latest addition to the group of high calibre executives that Monitise has attracted. The Executive is also supported by a distinguished Advisory Board, including figures such as John Hardy, former CEO of LINK Interchange Network Ltd; Andrew Harrison, CEO of Carphone Warehouse; Graeme Hutchinson, former Sales & Marketing Director of Virgin Mobile; and Christopher Rodrigues CBE, former President & CEO of Visa International.
