Minister of State for Financial Services and Administrative Reform Yoshimi Watanabe, China Securities Regulatory Commission Vice chairman Yao Gang, Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary Yuji Miyamaoto, The Securities Association of China Chairman Huang XiangPing and over 200 other guests joined in the commemorative ceremony that followed.
Said Atsushi Saito, President and CEO of the TSE: "The establishment of our representative office in Beijing is symbolic of the friendship that Chinese and Japanese securities markets have cultivated until now, and it is my earnest wish that the office will promote even greater cooperation between our two markets as a 'center of exchange,' while helping contribute to the further development of capital markets in China."
Using this office as a hub, the TSE group is committed to continuing our efforts to promote the growth of capital markets in both China and Japan in the future.
