Norkom apppoints Alain Tayenne GM, Europe

Norkom Technologies, the leading provider of financial crime and compliance software to the global financial services industry, has announced the appointment of Alain Tayenne as General Manager of Norkom Europe.

Mr. Tayenne joins Norkom following a successful assignment with Reuters Corporation, where he had commercial responsibility for the trade and risk management applications business area for Continental Europe, UK and Latin America.

Prior to this, Mr. Tayenne was Group General Manager for Financial Reporting Systems (FRS Global), the leading provider of global risk and regulatory compliance reporting solutions, with responsibility for over 220 employees spread across 13 direct offices worldwide. During Mr. Tayenne's tenure as Group General Manager, FRS Global saw its revenues double within three years, while engaging in multi-year relationships with key financial institutions and building significant contracted revenue.

Announcing the appointment, Paul Kerley, Norkom's Chief Executive Officer, said, "We are delighted that Alain has agreed to join our team.
