Infotec becomes GL Trade Information Services

GL Trade, international provider of integrated multi-market and multi-asset solutions for financial institutions, is pleased to announce the complete integration of Infotec (a Swiss company acquired in July 2007) into the Group.

Infotec now forms the core of a new GL Trade business line: GL Trade Information Services.

GL TRADE Information Services provides a highly competitive market information solution thanks to its coverage of 160 markets and OTC sources, Market Map, a highly functional Windows workstation, and SMART, a tool for managing access and optimizing costs in real time.

The advantages of the GL TRADE Information Services offering are based on high quality data flows (real time updates, technical analysis and research tools, extensive historical database), highly competitive prices (based on the content used), and exceptional simplicity of installation and usage (all services accessible via Internet).

GL TRADE Information Services solutions have over 7,000 users, consisting of bankers, brokers, wealth and fund managers and treasury managers, based mainly in Europe. Infotec posted a 27% increase in turnover in 2007 compared to the previous year (€13M).

Robert Jeanbart, Global Head of GL TRADE's Information Services business line, stated that: "This integration is a key milestone in our strategy. It enables us to combine the Group's Market Data and Trading assets and offer them to all our clients through GL TRADE's global network".
