Onyx® Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), a worldwide leader in successful customer relationship management (CRM), today announced a new edition of Onyx CRM for Investment Management solution including several new components targeted at helping investment managers acquire new clients, retain existing ones, and focus resources on the most profitable clients.

The new Onyx Institutional Asset Management solution includes a Pension Directories Prospector that leverages pension directories information to identify qualified prospects and seamlessly integrate that information directly into their existing Onyx CRM system. Investment managers are able to quickly convert this market data into sales opportunities that lead to selections. Investment managers can then execute bulk actions against an entire group of prospects to conduct targeted marketing campaigns, schedule sales calls, or send literature - tracking every endeavor through the client lifecycle.

The new version also includes a Portfolio Management view giving employees instant access to all client interactions and account information in a single screen. This all encompassing view enables employees to provide personalized service, leading to increased client retention and growth in client assets under management.

"We're glad to see Onyx's continued focus on the CRM needs of Institutional Asset Management industry, said Dan Cullen, CIO Boston Partners Asset Management. "We plan on leveraging the Pension Directories Prospector and the Portfolio Management View to increase client satisfaction and new business development."

To ensure that key executives have what they need, the Onyx solution offers a client summary report providing a quick overview of key contact information, account status and recent interaction notes that are especially useful in preparation for client meetings. Client activity reports enable firms to understand the cost side of client profitability with instant views of key marketing, sales and service activities performed by the firm for a client. Internal activity reports help measure individual or team performance, identify best practices and flag unprofitable activities.

"As client demand for increasingly sophisticated investment products and service levels continue to increase, it's imperative that investment managers have the tools at their disposal to see the entire client relationship," said Ben Kiker, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Onyx Software. "Onyx will continue to work with our outstanding clients in this industry to ensure they are well equipped to exceed their clients' expectations."

Onyx is a leading full-suite CRM vendor in the financial services market, counting among its customers 12 of the top 50 asset management firms in the world. Other Onyx customers in the investment management sector include American Express, State Street Global Advisors, PIMCO, and Western Asset Management.
