Rod Nixon, an authority in the payments field of the Financial Service industry has been appointed Managing Director of Savantor International, responsible for the mainland Europe operation and will be based at their new mainland Europe headquarters soon to open in Brussels.

Rod Nixon has over 25 years of success at the centre of the evolving international payment card business and is a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of commercial and technical experience at UK, European and global levels. Prior to his recent position as Head of Consumer Debit and Prepaid at Visa Europe in London, he held key positions at MasterCard where he was instrumental in the development of the Maestro acceptance network and the scheme's global debit product strategy.
