Martin spent 16 years with Misys and Kindle Banking Systems in various management positions. During his 3 years as Director of Professional Services, he expanded the team from 10 to 123 people and established a structured professional services organisation. In 1995, he became Director of Corporate Accounts where he was responsible for developing business with existing large corporate clients.

Following this, he managed global sales for Kindle as Director of International Sales. In 2000 he became Director of Marketing before moving to Dubai as General Manager for Misys International Banking systems, Dubai in 2002. He was also a member of the board of Kindle Banking Systems for 10 years from 1992.
