CR2, a global provider of multichannel banking software solutions announced its latest product innovations at the company's customer conference recently.

The conference which was held in the Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai from the 20th-22nd November 2007 was attended by more than 100 delegates representing 50 banks and 30 countries.

CR2 introduced a number of additions to the company's BankWorld product suite at the conference.

BankWorld ATM Studio was officially launched and demonstrated to delegates attending the conference. The latest innovation to the BankWorld ATM suite, BankWorld ATM Studio empowers banks for the first time to rapidly design and easily deploy personalised products to their ATM network.

Commenting at the customer conference, Mr. Martin Dolan, CEO, CR2, said, "Personalising the customer experience at the ATM has always been highly desirable, however the realisation of this benefit has been hampered by the absence of IT resources often overburdened by compliance issues which invariably are prioritised. BankWorld Studio now enables a bank's marketing or consumer banking team to take control of branding and product delivery at the ATM."

CR2 also announced the forthcoming availability of BankWorld Internet built on the latest open standard JSR-168 portal specification, at the conference. The arrival of BankWorld Internet on this portal architecture will enable banks to deliver the next generation of online banking to customers. BankWorld Internet delivered through portal architecture will empower banks to provide a one-stop personalised financial portal to customers by seamlessly aggregating traditional Internet banking functionality with external content such as mortgage calculators, news feeds and stock market information.

Commenting on the conference, Mr. Janusz Jaworski, Manager Electronic Banking, ANZ, said, "CR2's customer conference was a valuable and educational experience, I will always remember. The presentations given as well as the contacts gained through attending the conference provided an informative insight into the evolution of the multichannel industry."

The conference also included a number of customer case studies including Standard Bank and Halyk Bank as well as a special presentation from Forrester, Vice President, Mr Jost Hoppermann.

Mr. Kieran Kilcullen, Sales and Marketing Director, CR2, said "Customer conferences are of paramount importance both to CR2 and to our clients and partners. These events provide us with an excellent opportunity to introduce the latest innovations in our product suite to our valued clients as well as receive their feedback on CR2's product suite which greatly assists us in our product strategy moving forward".
