Fidelity Bank and Oklahoma Fidelity Bank, a division of Fidelity Bank, has locations in Oklahoma and Kansas serving more than 60,000 customers.

"We are very excited about this partnership with Fidelity Bank for many reasons but mostly because it represents another financial institution that has made identity theft prevention a high priority," said Davis. "The number of people affected by this crime will only drop when organizations make the same decision as Fidelity Bank."

Located in a secure facility in Tempe, Arizona, LifeLock enables "locks" by setting and automatically renewing fraud alerts with the major credit bureaus, removing member names from pre-approved credit card offers and junk mail lists and guaranteeing the service a $1 million service guarantee. Recently, LifeLock added an additional service to all clients - free of charge - called WalletLock™. WalletLock works to cancel and replace all documents and personal identifying information inside a wallet if it is lost or stolen.

The Federal Trade Commission reported in 2007 that for the seventh consecutive year that identity theft topped the list as the fastest growing crime in the United States, costing Americans more than $1.1 billion. In 2007, more than 2,200 identity theft complaints were filed to the FTC from residents of Oklahoma. More than 1,600 complaints of identity theft were filed with the FTC from residents of Kansas in 2007.

"We recognize the importance of making additional protection available to protecting our most important assets - our customers and our employees - and keeping their identities secure is imperative," said Al Sanchez, Senior VP of Marketing with Fidelity Bank. "After doing much research, we recognize the preventative service that LifeLock offers to be one of the best in the industry and the fact that they back it up with a $1 million guarantee is additional peace of mind."
