This release extends existing capabilities to improve collection item processing, increase efficiency, and enhance security.
Enhancements to I-TRACS 5.5 include enhanced search capability for zero dollar amounts and wildcard searches on reference fields; increased field lengths to enable more content; visibility to the memo history for all previously created memos; and new reporting features. Security enhancements provide the necessary controls to mitigate risk, including Item Status Control so that operators cannot select an invalid "next" state for an item status unless they have authorization, and Report Ownership Security with three security options - Public, Shared, and Private.
"I-TRACS helps major US and Canadian banks and savings institutions reduce manual effort, improve collection item processing, improve security at the user level, and provide reporting on collections for multiple banking entities from a central location," said John Harte, General Manager of Trintech Funds Management Division. "It is the most favored solution for banks that want to better manage their multi-million dollar draft business."
