Card security outfit Samport adds Visa risk expert Littås to board

Robert Littås has been elected to the board of Samport Payment Services AB.

Mr Littås has broad experience in risk management and extensive knowledge of the card payment industry. As well as strengthening the strategic work of the board, Mr Littås will also participate in and support the geographical expansion of Samport´s business.

Samport is one of the market leaders in the development and sale of advanced payment and anti-fraud systems for credit card transactions. The market leading product Samport ZEUS protects banks, PSPs and their merchants from the ever-increasing risk of card fraud. Samport LETO brings card payment functionality to banks, system vendors and large merchants.

Mr Littås currently works in London as a Risk Manager Consultant for Visa Europe. From 1998 to 2007, he was Senior Vice President of Visa Europe where he headed the Risk Management Department. Prior to his career at Visa, he joined the police force, working in Sweden and for the United Nations in Cyprus. Later he was recruited to Interpol, first stationed in Stockholm and later in Paris, where he headed the Department of Economic Crime.
