FutureTrade appoints Lee Siegfried as COO

FutureTrade, a leading independent provider of electronic equity and option execution services, announced today the appointment of Lee Siegfried to its executive management team.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Siegfried will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the business, including Development, IT, QA, Product Management and Systems Operations. Mr. Siegfried will report directly to FutureTrade President and CEO, Murray Finebaum.

Mr. Siegfried brings over 30 years of experience in development, product and organizational management to FutureTrade. "We are extremely pleased to welcome Lee to the FutureTrade team," said Mr. Finebaum. "During the last 18 months FutureTrade has experienced rapid client growth through our direct sales channel and is now preparing to manage additional growth from several strategic relationships. Adding another seasoned manager to our executive team assures that we have the expertise to continue to execute as we grow our global organization and client base."

Mr. Siegfried joins FutureTrade from DHL Worldwide Express, the world's leading air express company, where he was responsible for building their US domestic business including the integration of Airborne Express after it's acquisition in 2003. Before DHL, Mr. Siegfried spent 9 years at Instinet where he served as senior vice president of global client and technology services and was responsible for leading this ECN's client services and IT organizations around the world during a period of rapid growth and global expansion. Prior to Instinet, Mr. Siegfried held senior management and product marketing positions at GFTA Analytics, Lotus Development and Intel. Mr. Siegfried received a BS in Business from California State University, Hayward.
