Merely two months after Callataÿ & Wouters announced its partnership with SAP and deployment of Thaler on Business Process Platform from SAP, a first customer has signed up for the offering!
Banca Monte Paschi Belgio, a subsidiary of the Italian, oldest bank in the world has decided to replace its existing core banking system for both front-office and back-office functionality by Thaler run on SAP.
The bank's main motivations to choose our offering are the integrated package including best-in-class operations and analytics, the openness of the platform to compose and add further components and Callataÿ & Wouters as single point of contact and trusted advisor.
The bank will start the implementation early 2008 and plans to be live in January 2009. This decision is an important milestone; further prospects are currently analyzing the offering.
