This is a development of its existing UK probate services which takes into consideration the globalised nature of today's investment portfolio.

Damon Holliday, Managing Director, commented: "we had noticed that there was an increase of probate cases involving administrative processes abroad. We promptly responded by adding a Resealing Grants of Probate service to our Probate Valuation service."

Whether investment securities are registered overseas but death occurred within the UK or they are registered within the UK but death occurred elsewhere, obtaining the reseal of the Grant of Probate can be burdensome.

Within its Resealing Grants of Probate service, Share Data advises on required documentation, provides the necessary forms for client signature and arranges for court appearance by a local advocate in jurisdictions where this is mandatory. Medallion Guarantees are also obtained where US securities in a deceased's estate need to be transferred or liquidated.

Share Data has an established network of contacts in many countries. This allows for prompt arrangement of local representation.
