Hypercom hires Connie Festa to drive HBNet sales

Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) today announced the appointment of Connie Festa as HBNet Vice President of Sales, with primary responsibility for driving sales globally of the company's high security network and transaction transport services and solutions.

She will report to Scott Goldthwaite, Vice President, Global Solutions. The appointment is effective immediately.

Ms. Festa joins Hypercom from Transaction Network Services (TNS), where she served as Director of Strategic Sales and National Sales Manager, POS Division, U.S. and Canada. She previously held senior management positions at companies including WAY Systems, Welcome Real Time, Dassault AT (now Thales) and Keycorp Limited operating in the U.S. as Tillsmith.

Ms. Festa has been a senior sales executive in the electronic payment and transaction transport industries since 1988. In her most recent position at Transaction Network Services, she spearheaded all aspects of the company's sales and customer support to the retail, banking and processing markets in the U.S. and Canada. She previously served as Director of Strategic Sales and National Sales Director - US, for WAY Systems, where she developed new markets and increased revenues for wireless payments.

Before joining WAY Systems, Ms. Festa served as CEO Americas for Welcome Real Time, a French-based payment software company where she was instrumental in breaking into the U.S., Canada and Latin American markets.

Her earlier experience includes senior management positions with LinkPoint International, Keycorp Limited, Dassault AT of America, Inc., International Verifact., National Business Systems Inc., and ICL Computers Canada Limited.
