IPC hires Andrew Miller to head financial services division

IPC Systems, the leading provider of indispensable communications solutions to financial services firms, today announced that Andrew Miller has been named Executive Vice President and President of IPC's Financial Services division.

IPC provides trading floor solutions and services to the world's largest financial services institutions in more than 40 countries. More than 105,000 traders around the world rely on an IPC desktop every day.

Mr. Miller brings more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership, strategic marketing and global expansion to IPC. As CEO of TANDBERG, a video communications solutions company, Mr. Miller and his team quadrupled sales in four years, diversified product offerings, led expansion in emerging markets such as Asia-Pacific, and forged key alliances with Cisco and Microsoft. He was also instrumental is repositioning the organization from a single product class company into a leading solutions provider. Prior to TANDBERG, Mr. Miller was with Cisco Systems, Inc. for eleven years, where he led the U.S. introduction of IP telephony and significantly grew the company by establishing entirely new divisions.
