Aon eSolutions Group, a unit of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), today announced that 18-year insurance technology veteran Paul Holden, 34, has joined Aon eSolutions as chief information officer.

With more than 18 years of experience in technology strategy, Holden's key area of responsibility is to expand eSolutions' suite of technology products that manage enterprise risk, administer claims, and oversee core insurance business processes. Holden will primarily be focused on enhancing RiskConsole, Aon's comprehensive risk management information system. Launched in 2001, RiskConsole is the pioneer in browser-based risk information technology. Holden will also play a role in integrating RiskConsole with iVOS-the company's recently acquired claims management solution.

"Having in-depth industry expertise is vital to our success in providing our clients with the comprehensive insurance solutions they require," said Kathleen Burns, chief executive officer of Aon eSolutions. "Paul thoroughly understands the needs of the market and brings valuable expertise we will leverage for our integrated RiskConsole-iVOS product suite. He's uniquely qualified to lead our technology organization to deliver the industry's best insurance solutions."

Holden joins Aon from Dynetech Services Corporation, where he served as CIO and vice president, executing the company's design, development, and management of strategic information systems. Prior to Dynetech, Holden worked as vice president of information technology at Broadspire Management Service, where he led the technology integration resulting from company acquisitions and the subsequent divestiture of business units acquired by Aetna and Crawford & Company. Holden also served as vice president and director of technology infrastructure at Sedgwick Claims Management Services.
