INFORMER Financial & Attica Bank completed the upgrade project in an impressive period of 8 months, whilst managing a considerable number of unique challenges;

• System Upgrade from G11 to R06; in essence a 5 version upgrade.
• Database conversion from Universe to J-Base.
• Migration of a substantial volume of client records, accounts and contracts: 450,000 clients, 400,000 accounts and 50,000 contracts.
• Review and conversion of an extensive localised banking environment with over 5,000 local routines.
• Manage the ongoing changes to the live environment of the bank throughout the duration of the project.

Attica Bank is one of the largest TEMENOS T24 sites in Greece operating the system in its 65 branches to support its ever increasing base of customers; hence this significant accomplishment will contribute to the management of the sizeable volumes of Attica Bank whilst offering to the Bank many enhanced capabilities, amongst which:

• The ability to extend operating hours to the afternoon and/or weekends.
• The design and adaptation (systemic) of new, competitive products which take significantly less time to materialize and hence faster time-to-market.
• More efficient customer service throughout the branch network.
• Improved connection of the central IT system to other peripheral systems of the Bank.
• Overall increase of the operational efficiency of the bank
