Linedata Services (Bloomberg: LIN.FP), announced today that McComsey Asset Management has adopted the award-winning LongView Trading order management system ("OMS").
McComsey Asset Management ("McComsey"), a growth-focused large-cap money management firm, will be using Linedata's LongView Trading on an application service provider model.
With application service provider ("ASP") deployment, Linedata manages and hosts LongView Trading at secure, specialized data centers. This frees McComsey from having to buy or manage the information technology infrastructure, and provides a single point of contact for controlling the OMS.
"McComsey Asset Management is a top ranked asset management firm that doesn't want their current growth to be limited by their systems infrastructure," said Gavin Little-Gill, Senior Vice President Product Management and Strategy, Linedata Services. "LongView Trading via ASP is a perfect match for McComsey. It allows them to add a robust order management system, without a corresponding increase in systems support staff or equipment."
LongView Trading will provide a real-time trading platform for McComsey's traders, and a greater level of transparency to McComsey's growing client base.
"McComsey Asset Management has devoted substantial resources in setting up its infrastructure and is poised for serious growth going forward," said Mark McComsey, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of McComsey Asset Management. "LongView is an important part of that progression."
