United Community, a full service bank which recently celebrated its centennial anniversary, has its main office in Oakwood, a town of about 1200 citizens, 30 miles from Champaign-Urbana in east central Illinois. A second office is located in nearby Danville.
"Personal Banking at its Best" is United Community's slogan. Brenda Wright, Cashier for the bank, recognizes a similar philosophy and commitment in CSI and its staff. "CSI has a reputation in the industry for innovative products backed by excellent customer support. We feel our new relationship with CSI will allow us to maintain our own high standards to offer the best in banking to our customers."
Wright, who was responsible for overseeing the bank's conversion to CSI, has been very pleased with the smooth transition. "We organized here at the bank and went into the conversion with a very positive attitude from everyone. It has been a very good experience. We're pleased with all the products we're using, especially the OFAC module. That one alone made the switch to CSI worth it to me."
Jerry Harper, President of United Community, agreed that the change to CSI has been a good move for the bank. "CSI's advanced platform has expanded our potential for offering new products and services. We plan to take advantage of CSI's branch capture to expedite documents while improving our service to United Community's customers."
"CSI and United Community Bank make a great partnership," stated CSI Regional Sales Manager Andy Burkett. "CSI can provide solutions to help the bank meet its needs and those of its customers. We look forward to contributing to United Community's continued growth and success."
