Orc Software, a leading supplier of technology for advanced market making, trading and brokerage, is reorganizing and has appointed Joakim Johansson as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. In his new position Joakim Johansson will be a member of Orc Software's Group management.

In conjunction with the reorganization Joacim Wiklander will assume responsibility for product development. Joacim Wiklander will, for the time being, also continue in his current position as Managing Director for Orc Software Canada. By placing the responsibility for product development in North America the company plans to strengthen its presence in a strong growth market.

Furthermore, Aleksey Dukhnyakov, formerly Head of Orc Software Russia, will be responsible for the development of Orc Software's core technology.

"The reorganization aims to ensure that we continue to be a leading supplier of the most advanced trading systems. These changes will add new strength within all areas, not in the least to Orc Liquidator. I am also excited that a Russian colleague for the first time has been appointed to a high ranking position within the company, says Nils Nilsson Chief Executive Officer, Orc Software.
