Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE:BR), formerly ADP Brokerage Services Group, has announced that Chinatrust Financial Holding Co.(Chinatrust) (Taiwan:2891.TW), a major financial holding company in Taiwan engaged in commercial banking, bills, financing, credit cards, trusts, insurance brokerage, securities, venture capital, and investment banking, is the latest member of its International Shareholder Communications Programme.
Under the new service agreement, Chinatrust will use Broadridge's services to distribute shareholder meeting information, corporate news and investor relations (IR) materials to its shareholders electronically on a real-time basis. It will monitor the collection and execution of voting instructions through Broadridge's proprietary voting platform, the ProxyEdge suite of products. The system can be utilised for meetings in a multitude of countries based on the holdings of global custodian clients.
"We are very impressed with the voting results delivered through Broadridge's electronic voting system at our 2007 AGM campaign. We look forward to continuing our relationship and to benefiting from an increasing coverage of foreign shareholdings on Chinatrust through Broadridge's expanding linkage to custodian bank systems," said Justine Shen, IR manager of Chinatrust Financial Holding Co., Ltd.
