I-design issues trading update

I-design, the media company which has developed a market leading ATM advertising solution (ATM:ad), enabling ATM network owners to run their own and third party advertising campaigns across their ATMs, is pleased to provide the following update on trading since the Group's IPO in July 2007.

The Board expects results for the financial year to 30 September 2007 to be in line with expectations and looks forward to updating shareholders when preliminary results are issued on 29 November 2007.

The sale of software licences for ATM:ad has progressed well. In September, i-design secured a five year contract with Alliance & Leicester plc. The contract comprises an initial licence fee for the use of i-design's software but also includes the exclusive rights for i-design to sell third party advertising space across Alliance & Leicester's ATM network. The impact of the contract is potentially significant, more than doubling the number of ATMs over which the Group has exclusive media sales rights. The contract is i-design's third major agreement, having already secured contracts with Nationwide Building Society and HSBC. In total, i-design now has sold ATM:ad software licences for 8,000 ATMs plus 2,200 in-branch internet kiosks and has exclusive media sales rights over approximately 2,500 of those ATMs.

In line with the stated strategy at the time of flotation, i-design has strengthened both its software and media sales operations. It has recently appointed a Business Development Director for Software, to assist in developing licence sales in the UK and overseas. A Head of Media Sales, who will be responsible for driving media sales, will be joining the Group this month.
