Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE: PER) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Perot Systems Government Services, Inc., has been awarded a two-year contract by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for support of its Legal Information Management System (LIMS). In addition to the initial two-year contract, the FDIC has five additional one-year renewal options.
As part of the contract, Perot Systems Government Services will provide project management, systems integration, training, and operations and maintenance support for LIMS in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The LIMS will be the FDIC Legal Division's application to identify, track, and manage legal matters pertaining to the financial institutions it oversees.
