Odyssey Financial Technologies, the leading global provider of private wealth and asset management solutions and services, today announced the appointment of André M Boisvert to its board of directors.
Boisvert, who has over 30 years' experience in the field of technology, will bring valuable input into formulating Odyssey's aggressive growth strategy, which includes both geographical and product expansion.
Boisvert began his career in 1976 when he joined IBM Corporation, where he spent 13 years in a variety of senior management positions in R&D, sales and marketing. Boisvert went on to hold executive positions in some of the most respected software companies in the industry, including Oracle where he was senior vice-president of Worldwide Marketing and a member of the management committee, and Cognos Corporation. Additionally Boisvert has held key operational positions in companies such as SAS Institute Inc., the world's largest privately owned software company, where he served as President & COO. He was also chairman and CEO of Sagent Technologies (NASDAQ:SGNT) where he successfully orchestrated its acquisition by Group 1 Software Inc. (NASDAQ:GSOF).
In 2004, Boisvert co-founded Pentaho Corporation, a leading open source business intelligence platform. As Pentaho's chairman he plays an active role in strategic alliances and business development. Boisvert is also chairman of Compiere, the world's leading integrated open source ERP & CRM Company, and Zenoss, an open source systems management company. Boisvert is also an outside director of UBmatrix Inc and Palamida Corporation.
