This decision was announced by FI today.

The requirements on owners of a Swedish stock exchange are set out in the Securities Exchange and Clearing Operations Act. FI may approve an owner if it can be assumed that the owner is suitable to exercise a significant influence over the management of the firm and will not act against the sound development of the firm's operations.

FI's assessment is that Nasdaq meets the requirements of the Act on the buyer of a qualifying holding in OMX.
